We are very excited to report the successful launch of AYSO-U in just its first two weeks. Volunteers, Instructors and Regional Boards alike are able to utilize AYSO-U’s Online Training for Coach, Referee, and Safe Haven; roster and register for Live Courses; and Download Instructional Materials and Exams.
Have you signed on to AYSO-U yet? Here are 2 helpful tips that will make your sign-on process all the smoother.
- So that AYSO-U can effectively link with your Certifications and Position Histories, make sure that your Blue Sombrero account matches your eAYSO record in the following fields:
- First and Last Name
- Date of Birth
- The last four digits of your SSN
- Before eSigning your BSB Volunteer Application, returning volunteers should check that their AYSO ID appears in the upper right corner of the form before eSigning. If the number begins with (20******), you can guarantee that it is a new volunteer ID number and not linked to your eAYSO account.
- Volunteers can go back at any time during the application process and fix fields.
- Common field issues deal with the use of a Nickname in Blue Sombrero instead of a legal first name (needed for a background screening).
We hope you enjoy AYSO-U! AYSO-U is easily accessible through your Region’s BSB Dashboard. You can also log on directly at aysou.org with a BSB username and password.
